9th EAACI-GA²LEN-Immunology Winter School, Davos, Switzerland

Dear Academy Members,

To increase the impact of basic immunology research in the field of allergy, EAACI is organising a Winter School for young scientists, who are active in allergy research.

The next meeting will take place from 3 – 6 February 2011 again in an alpine setting, this time in Davos, Switzerland.

As in the previous meetings it will include 6 sessions which will be presented by one keynote speaker followed by 25 presentations of participants as selected from their abstracts. Two poster sessions are planned.

The goal of this meeting is to cover allergy and asthma related basic immunological concepts together with 70 selected young scientists in a friendly scientific environment. In addition there will be free time for winter sports between the morning and afternoon sessions.

Seventy participants will be selected based on the scientific quality of the submitted abstract. Expenses of participants (EAACI members) will be covered, except for travel costs. In addition, a limited number of travel grants will be available. The registration fee for non-members is EUR 300.
